Oh my gosh, this is what happens when you spend 5 weeks in a College-Level painting class, learning about lighting techniques and color study!

This was a $21.00 commission for the wonderful, of his character couple with . ^_^


I have fallen in love with this piece in so many ways! The anatomy, the cute poses, the proportions, the layout of the scene, the colors, the shading, the lighting, ALL OF IT! I hand painted all the blades of grass individually, just ask *Midnight-Yamikidate I was on Skype call with him while I painted them. And it took about 3 hours.

Everything in this piece was hand painted down to the last detail. And look! I didn't render the lighting or a lens flare for once! I hand painted the lighting and reflection in the water, so overall I am so incredibly proud of this piece!
