$COM:: Small Nidhoggr Sculpture

So a few months ago, ordered a gift commission of his sister's OC Nidhoggr, as a small sculpture. And yes, you heard correct. This size, is a SMALL. She stands roughly 5 inches tall, and is over a foot long. Some of her key details were her twisted horns, and her large wingspan. I also did something different with her anatomy than I usually do, as she had very unique anatomy in her reference. I ordered special crystals to put into her shoulders and tail, and of course there was the pain-staking detail of her fins. I probably spent about 6 hours on her fins alone.

But perhaps her most amazing detail, can be seen in the last two shots. What you see there is the living truth! All of Nidhoggr's blue markings, GLOW IN THE DARK! I used a very special paint, and did multiple layers of the glowing overlay on her base markings. The end result, is what you see here.

I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to sculpt her. It truly was a pleasure. ^_^
