Elder Terraconiss Ref

I finished more of the Elder Refferences.

Here is Elder Terraconiss and he has had some changes made to his design... It seems that as my art evolves, so do my characters.

So the dorsals of his wings are now white instead of brown, and the ventrals are a golden yellow. I've changed his tail design a bit, and now he doesn'5t have a full marking on his left front foot.

Here's his backstory:

---Like all the others in his can, Terraconiss was an earth elemental dragon. He learned all the basics of the element, such as the earth flail, earthquake creation, ground leveling, and the earth missile. But... Terraconiss had one more ability that the others did not...

It was a hot afternoon. Training for the day had just gotten out and all the teens were playing in the field. But Terraconiss didn't play. Instead, he sat down under a nice shadey tree, and pulled out a scroll from his side bag. Unrolling it, he looked down upon strange glyphs unlike any language that we humans have seen... He sat there, readingthe symbols, and then carving them in the dirt with his claws. It was just like any other day. Except for one little thing...

"Terraconiss? What are you doing?" Said a feminine voice. Terraconiss' head bolted up as his nose touched that of a female earth dragon. He knew immediately who she was. She had discoloration in her scales that gave her body unusual colors for an earth dragon. Instead of being green, she was a shade of yellow-green. And that markings on her were a pale sky blue and her wings were white. A golden yellow belly stripe lined her underside. Her name was Checuti. But everyone else just knew her as "The-Freak"...

"Oh, who me? Oh I'm a- I'm just- Uhhh, reading..." Terraconiss slurred. He was always very nervous when speaking to others... Checuti examined the etchings in the dirt.

"Wow, you're really good at that. I can't write, but I can kinda read it. It's ancient dragon script right? My mother and father taught me a little bit of it. Mind if I try?" She asked. Terraconiss nodded, and she laid down right beside him... Leaning in really close to read the letters. Terraconiss blushed.

"T-E-R-R-A-C-O-N-I-S-S. Ter-ra-con-iss. Terraconiss. Huh, I can read it." She said proudly. Terraconiss looked at her, then back at the dirt. He etched more symbols into it.

"How- How about those?" He studdered. She looked at them.

"C-H-E-C-U-T-I. Che-cu-ti. Checuti. It's my name now. Hehehehe." She giggled. Then Terraconiss carved more symbols into the dirt around them. She looked at them, trying to read the words.

"I-L-O-V-E-Y-O-U. I-love-you. I love you...." She stopped. Looking at the writing all together. It said, 'Terraconiss, I love Checuti'................ She blushed, then looked up at him. He smiled at her, and she nuzzled him. In the next few years that came, they were wed...

Terraconiss was now 23 years old, and Checuti was 21. His speach problem had gone without a trace and he now spoke properly. He was also a teacher at the school, showing the young dragons how to read the ancient language. And after a long day at work, he returned home to his wife.

"Oh hi honey." Checuti said as Terraconiss walked into the mouth of the cave. They nuzzled as he walked by to drop off his side bag that was just filled to bursting with scrolls... "More work?" She added.

"Yes... Unfortunately... *sigh* Checuti, I've been thinking... We've lived here our whole lives and we've never even been outside the valley..." Terraconiss said.

"Yes? And what are you getting at?" Checuti responded. Terraconiss continued.

"Well, it's just... I think we should take a vacation you know. Go somewhere really nice. Maybe to the eastern beach, right along the forrest edge? Or up north to the mountains?"

"It sounds like a wonderful idea dear, there's just one problem........." Checuti said. Terraconiss turned and looked at her, she notioned to her side. He walked over and she lifted up her wing... He gasped as he saw the two eggs laying there... The eon of sorrow was still about the land, and that law was, that any egg laid was to be confiscated and taken to the nesting cave to be gaurded. While they awaited the birth of the next white dragon...

"OH! Oh my!" Terraconiss exclaimed. "This is! Is- Wonderful! You're a mother! And me, why I'm going to be a father of two beautiful babies! Oh I'm so happy!"

"I wanted to tell you earlier, but if I had told the school, well, you know what would've happened..." She said, nuzzling him.

"Yes, and that's just the problem dear... If someone sees us with these eggs, they'll take them away. And even I can't get them back then... We'll have to leave! We'll go somewhere far away where they would never think to look for us! I'll make sure that our children come into this world safely in our paws!" Terraconiss ranted. And so that night, they snuck out under cover of darkness, each carrying an egg as they flew... But where did they land? Where was thier new home...? Why it was in a place none otehr than the Valley of Draco! Allthough, since Neffertity had yet to be born, it wasn't even on the map yet. It was just some old valley with no inhabbitants. The perfect place to hatch thier eggs!

And about 5 months later, the eggs hatched... And as the two parents looked down upon their children, they smiled... Two happy parents, and now they could return home. For one of the babies looked like a lighter version of Terraconiss, and the other looked like a cross between the two parents... They couldn't have been happier...---
